WHY CHOOSE US
WE PERFORM ONLY ONE HOME INSPECTION IN A WORK DAY
It is typical in the industry for a home inspector to inspect two or even three homes in a work day. At CNHInspections, we inspect only one home in a work day. We believe this gives our clients a better service overall, as we can devote all of our time to you and your inspection by being available before, during and after to answer any questions you may have. This enables us to take our time, focusing our attention on your specific inspection, while not being pressed for time to perform another inspection in the same day!
OUR INSPECTIONS TAKE LONGER
In the industry, a typical home inspection takes 1.5 - 2 hours on an average sized home. However, our inspections take longer than the average home inspection. We climb every roof that is safe to do so, enter every accessible attic and crawlspace, open every electrical service panel, use tools and equipment to further investigate suspicious or otherwise inaccessible areas e.g., a crawl bot with a built-in camera, a moisture meter, a circuit analyzer, an infrared thermal imaging camera, etc... We believe that spending more time inspecting the home’s structure, systems and components equips you with a more accurate and informational report of defects and safety hazards present during the inspection.
OUR REPORTS ARE NOT DELIVERED ON-SITE
After the inspection it is typical in the industry to receive your inspection report on-site. However, in our experience we feel this is not in the best interest of our clients. After the inspection, Lauren and I spend hours together tailoring your report with detailed descriptions, HD photos, videos and informational external links to help you truly understand why an area is defective and what it should look like. We firmly believe that through trial and error, this systematic reporting process that we have developed, focusing on attention to detail, accomplishes our goal of delivering to you a professional report that is easy for you to navigate and understand. This equips you with the knowledge you need to make an informed buying decision!
